They may have some substantial scratching or scrape that may need P-TEX to be fully repaired along with a tune; however, are still ready to use with no base welds needed. These may show signs of having a major P-TEX or base weld repair but these repairs are in good shape and ready to use. These skis have a fresh coat of wax on them and are ready to hit the slope.
