I hate the thought of spending hundreds of dollars without getting to try them on first. This is a risk free way to try these skates, from one hockey parent to another. Skates bought last year and used for one full season of travel hockey and high school hockey. Everything pictured is included including JRZ Pro Steel blades that were bought towards the end of the season. Original inserts includes and never used. Custom inserts included. Skates have only been molded once. We bought these at Pure Hockey last year for full price, over $1200.

There is not as much difference between the HyperLite and the HyperLite 2 as there was between the Hyperlite and the 2x Pro, but the 2 is really just a lighter skate. More comfort features have been added also, and there is a new locking mechanism. The HyperLite 2 still offers the quick release, but it's a different upgraded style, which makes it easier to switch the steel in and out. The holder itself is different and extremely lightweight.
