Instantly recognizable by its teal green color, these skis were a top-selling model in the late 80's. Ski magazine testers liked its light feel, easy turning, and ability to handle slalom racing, fall-line free-skiing, bumps, and powder. Technical design included Rossignol's V.A.S. (vibration absorbtion system), with plates on the top and strips embedded in the base. Includes Tyrolia 490D diagonal bindings. These have metal toe pieces and heels for durability, with plastic housings. DIN 4-10; I skied on them at about DIN 5.5. Tugging or using a pole tip to pull the heel latch upward makes these easy to release, even upside down in powder! The bindings are mounted for a 285mm boot. Note: the anti-friction plate fell out of one ski, so I cut up a plastic card and glued it in - see photos. I am a lightweight, 125lb skier. I only skied a few days each year, so I would estimate these have maybe 30 days of wear on them. The bases and edges are in excellent condition, and the tops look great with expected chips and scuffs. Don't miss your chance to rock a late '80's vibe on the slopes!
