Bought these new a couple of weeks ago. They are pretty nice shin pads and will offer someone good comfort and protection. They are super lightweight as well. I would love to keep them, however they are designed to be worn against your ankle under the tongue of your skate. I have always worn my shin pads over the tongue of the skate (defenseman) and thus they will not work for me.
